About Me
My own birth experience 3 years ago inspired me to become a Birth Doula. I finally understood the strength, power, and magic of women. As an experienced Doula working in the Miami area, I offer personalized birthing support. My goal is to give you and your family the attention and knowledge you need to make informed decisions about your pregnancy and labor process. I see each pregnancy as a unique miracle. I help women embark on their birthing journey gently through breathing exercises, relaxation techniques and aromatherapy. Please get in touch to set up an initial consultation. Two prenatal visits
During our visits, I will want to become familiar with your plans for labor, birth and postpartum. We will discuss when to call during labor, and what to expect when we arrive at the hospital. I will also want to know your own best ways of coping with pain and fatigue and how you and your partner foresee working together. We will also review your plans for postpartum and basic newborn care.

Labor and birth
Help you stay comfortable during labor.
Explain what’s happening during labor, birth and any procedures you may have.
Encourage you and give you confidence.
Support your family and friends who are with you during labor.
Let hospital staff know what you need. Unlimited phone, text, and email, 24 hour on call support from 38 weeks until baby is born.

Postpartum visit
I will check in with you one time in person after you have your baby to make sure you are adjusting well, and to answer any questions you may have. You can expect this visit to be much less formal than your prenatal visit. I will follow your lead as far as what you want to talk about and what needs you may have. You can expect this informal meeting to last 1-2 hours.

I am a non-clinical provider who will draw upon my knowledge and experience to provide emotional support, physical comfort and communication with your health care provider to ensure you have the information needed to make informed decisions in labor. I do not perform clinical tasks, such as blood pressures, fetal assessments, vaginal exams, etc.
